2. Gas exists in the sealing chamber of stainless steel multistage centrifugal pump due to insufficient exhaust or other reasons. Under the action of internal pressure of the sealing chamber, the friction pair is instantaneously opened, which causes leakage of the seal.
3. The circulating system is not clean or filtered, the water quality is poor, there are foreign bodies, sludge and so on, which can cause serious wear and tear on the friction surface and also cause failure.
4. In addition, due to the sudden pressure fluctuation during the operation of stainless steel multi-stage centrifugal pump, pulse pressure or frequent start-up may cause damage to the transmission part and the weak links of the anti-rotation part, resulting in mechanical seal failure. Therefore, when users use high-pressure boiler feed water pump, first of all, they should solve the correctness of the power plant process, minimize the pressure fluctuation and reduce the frequency of frequent start-up when the process is running. In addition, in the design of mechanical seals, we should consider the strength calculation and selection of wear moment follower ring when it transfers to the shaft and from the static ring to the pump stator, and starting force when it transfers from the shaft to the transmission system on the dynamic ring to avoid the above problems.
